  3. Sports injuries
David first qualified as a Sports Therapist in 1995, specialising in minor injury management and Sports and Remedial massage.

Although aware of the treatment, his real interest in Myofascial Release (MFR) was awoken in 2014 having received treatment which included Myofascial work on a chronic leg injury. Intrigued by the treatment and delighted with the results, he began training with MFR UK in 2018. A holistic treatment, MFR is often effective in the subtle resolution of many conditions which “traditional” massage may not completely eliminate in the longer term, by identifying and treating the cause (which may be some distance physically from the site of discomfort and include a number of other factors) rather than just the area where symptoms present themselves. Working in clinics in both Aviemore and Inverness, Dave lists clients of all ages and backgrounds from across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, presenting with a wide variety of both acute and chronic sports, work, and “lifestyle- related” injuries and conditions. Contact Dave for further information and to find out how MFR may be able to help you.
