The Axial Skeleton workshop is delivered in a 2-day attendance workshop and a 1-day online theory course providing 3 days of CPD.
This MFR workshop will discuss the anatomy and function of the TMJ area, the spine and sacrum. This workshop offers diagnostic skills, the biomechanical and biotensegrity understanding of the relationship of the jaw with the rest of the body and easy to use fascial techniques to regain correct movement, balance and function.
Pre-Requisite – Structural Series Part 1
The participant will:
A CPD certificate of attendance will be provided after the workshop for both the online course the practical attendance workshop.
The Myofascial Unwinding Workshop is delivered in a 2-day attendance workshop and a 1-day online theory course providing 3- days of CPD.
Myofascial Unwinding is the spontaneous movement of the body during an MFR treatment session. This movement is the body’s self-correcting mechanism. It is a natural, safe and effective way to release deep restrictions due to the unconscious, habitual, holding and bracing patterns both physical and emotional. This movement also takes the hard work out of understanding postural evaluation and protocol techniques. It allows the therapist to see, feel and access the glitches in the patient’s unique fascial system, follow and soften through them and thereby restoring function and range.

The participant will learn –
A CPD certificate of attendance will be provided after the workshop for both the online course the practical attendance workshop.
This Workshop is delivered online and provides 3 days of CPD.
Myofascial assessment and integration offers effective postural and functional assessment and fundamental muscle groups and ligamentous testing. This workshop emphasis the importance of function versus dysfunction and offers many, easy to learn, functional testing applications looking at joint-by-joint and basic biomechanics. This workshop also brings a greater understanding of trigger points and what role they play in myofascial pain. Muscle energy techniques will be discussed and basic applications will be skilfully integrated into effective myofascial techniques as well as the introduction of neurofascial release, a powerful and effective therapy developed by MFR UK which uses gentle isometric contraction in conjunction with MFR which increases mobility and proprioception.
This workshop is available for students who have attended MFR UK’s level 1 and also for those therapists who have attended MFR training elsewhere of at least 2 days with an emphasis on sustained MFR.
The student will learn:
A CPD certificate will be provided after the completion of this online workshop.
