Cupping therapy is an ancient treatment modality used in traditional medicine in several parts of the world, including China and the Middle East.

There are many types of cupping therapy but this course will focus on dry cupping that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction.

Cupping therapy can be an incredibly useful treatment for many conditions, but it can be hard to find a therapist who can provide this service.

Our Myofascial Cupping Therapy course is perfect for skilled therapists who want to learn how to use this treatment method successfully. This course offers an evidence-informed approach that can be used in conjunction with other therapies so that you can feel confident in your practice and achieve even better treatment outcomes.

You’ll be able to add this therapy to your toolkit to not only confidently treat both chronic pain and sports injuries but attain even better results.

Myofascial Cupping Therapy is a one-day in-person workshop.

At the Myofascial Cupping Therapy course you will  :

Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) uses a variety of stainless steel tools designed to deliver effective treatment and also save your hands.

There are many types of IASTM tools effective for different body parts some using a broader approach and others providing specificity to localised tissue.

IASTM offers therapists the ability to induce and encourage tissue change relevant to the needs of the client by using a variety of different shaped tools, speed application and direction of applied stroke.

IASTM also offers a different sense of touch thought to mediate the pain experience and encourage better proprioceptive body function.

Many therapists have begun to use IASTM as a means to saving their hands from the demands of manual therapy. This in-person workshop will show you how to get the most effective results with the best body and hand mechanics.
