I graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University.

I worked in the NHS for 15 years; achieving my Diploma in Orthopaedic medicine in 1999. I also dedicated many years to establishing a medical service with local rugby teams & in 1999 I was fortunate enough to be part of the team when they celebrated the most successful season in 63 years; winning the NW One Championship & NPI Cup & being awarded the Budweiser Team of the Year silver trophy. My practice diversified in 2002 into Complementary Medicine & in 2008 I started my journey with MFR training under Art Riggs & Ruth Duncan. In 2011 My Body Work I accomplished my Advanced level IMFR consolidating my clinical interest in soft tissue practice. I’m very committed to developing my practice through professional development. My clinical interest lies with soft tissue and structural correction, where I can integrate my Physio & MFR skills.

Structural & soft tissue dysfunctions are very different & unique to every client evolving from posture & lifestyle, illness, operations an injuries. Each client's experience of their condition is unique to them. Having worked in many different hospitals & departments, private clinics & rugby clubs I have been fortunate enough to have gained a diverse clinical experience. With a comprehensive set of skills I aim to manage many conditions - acute & chronic. I combine my MFR, Physio, Complementary skills (Lava Shell, Himalayan, Gua Sha, WaveStone & Cupping Massage) with exercise & self management to initiate a journey to improve the outcome for my clients.
