Event Details

This workshop delivers a wealth of knowledge of how neural tension affects function and how to use dynamic soft tissue techniques to restore neural glide and promote pain-free range of movement.

Often by the time you see a client, they’re well on their way to neural dysfunction. Early intervention will eliminate neural tension avoiding pain and dysfunction.

“For the nervous system to move normally, it must successfully execute three primary mechanical functions; withstand tension, slide in its container, and be compressible.” Shacklock 2006

This 2-day special event is designed to expand your therapeutic and diagnostic skills and provide you with excellent techniques which you can
immediately incorporate into your existing treatments.

Places are limited for this workshop.

In this two-day intensive course you will learn the concepts and applications of base neurodynamic tests including –

  • Brachial Plexus
  • Upper Limb Neurodynamic Tests for Median, Radial & Ulnar pathways (biases)
  • Spine and Lower Peripheral Pathways
  • Slump and Straight Leg Raise
  • and tibial and Peroneal Neurodynamic Tests (Tension Tests)

You will also-

  • Learn how to differentiate muscular tension from neural tension along ALL neural pathways
  • Learn fundamental techniques which reduce neural tone resulting in a decrease of muscular tension

Join Steve in upgrading your skill set and learn how to strategically release nerves with very little effort resulting in a dramatic increase in your treatment outcomes.

Steve Goldstein has a special interest in the integration of fascial and soft tissue techniques with MET’s, neural techniques and joint mobilisations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Health Science in Musculoskeletal Therapy. Steve has taught numerous workshops around the world for many years sharing his passion for his work and helping therapists get better results with less effort. Steve was the keynote lecturer at the 2011 Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation conference and presented a workshop at both the 2018 and 2016 British Fascia Symposium.
