WHAT MAKES THIS COURSE DIFFERENT?

The partnership of Dawn Seaman with MFR UK will provide you with the most relevant and current theoretical information along with a blend of highly practical skills making EiMFT a unique and valuable course.

With 2 decades of experience, MFR UK will deliver your online thought provoking theory package that complements and enhances the taught practical skills from Dawn who will draw on the theory module highlighting its relevance throughout your 3 practical days.

Dawn Seaman (nee McCaig) has almost 15 years of practical experience both in treating and lecturing. This course will provide you with a wealth of knowledge and skills at your finger tips.

This highly practical evidence informed course promotes the modern, indirect, slow and sustained myofascial release approach recognised as gentle and non-intrusive. Recent research has promoted this therapy to be more effective for treating the viscous ground substance of the fascial matrix thought to be involved in tissue densification and dysfunction.

EiMFT recognises that no one body-part moves in isolation or is dictated by lines or chains but instead promotes a holistic biotensegrity approach.

MEET YOUR TUTOR...

Dawn Seaman (nee McCaig) - Dawn trained initially in holistic massage and anatomy and physiology then became an equine bodyworker through Equinenergy where she was introduced to the concept of indirect MFR.

After completing Equinenergy’s MFR course she went on to do many more direct and indirect courses, many of which were with Myofascial Release UK.  She is also trained in equine and human McTimoney-Corley Spinal Therapy. She brings together 14 years of expertise to provide you with this invaluable CPD course.

"Having completed Dawns MFR courses I would highly recommend attending as she is a brilliant teacher who shares her knowledge of MFR with ease. Excellent demonstrations followed by hands on learning of the skills & techniques which I use in every equine treatment.”

Laura MacGregor, Human & Equine Massage Therapist, Argyll

"I did all three of Dawn’s MFR courses about 5 years ago. It has transformed my practice and MFR is the primary tool I use in my kit bag working on horses and dogs. She is methodical, evidence based and clear and fun in her teaching. Very practical and thinks through challenging questions very rigorously. I am grateful to Dawn for all her teaching and support she has given me over the years.

Alix Tidmarsh. Equine & Canine Manual Therapis

"MFR has been a hugely beneficial addition to my treatment repertoire offering gentle but holistic methods. Horses absolutely love these techniques as they’re so simple and fuss free, and Dawn is a patient teacher who presents the information in an easy to digest way. Definitely one of the best courses you’ll do!."
