Hand positions for the Atlanto-Occipital Release TechniqueiMFT, is a whole body, multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare. It incorporates an integration of tried and tested advanced soft tissue/fascial techniques. iMFT is presented in a series of experiencial 2 day workshops for health care professionals. These post graduate workshops allow therapists to develop a deeper level of awareness and sensitivity in their treatments.

  • a wide range of powerful and safe easy to use Fascial Release Techniques
  • new and exciting clinical skills to compliment and enhance your bodywork practice
  • the skilful integration of advanced soft tissue/fascial approaches that can be easily and immediately incorporated into your existing treatment protocols

The Certification Mark of Approval

Complementary therapists associationMFR UK is committed to quality and excellence and is actively involved in accreditation for its students. Whilst national Complementary Therapy accreditation is still unclear MFR UK has been seeking other ways to accredit its workshops in order to maintain, and raise, the standard of MFR treatment as well as promote a register of qualified practitioners for patient referral. In the last 2 years MFR UK has worked to gain a trademark against its name and also a certification of the standard of treatment produced by its graduates. The certification has been obtained via the Intellectual Property Bureaux (formerly The Patent Office).

Once a student has passed the final assessment in level 3 they are eligible to use and promote MFR under the banner of Integrated Myofascial Therapy and use its logo for marketing and promotion. There are now in place strict guidelines for those therapists wishing to be part of the UK and Ireland register of accredited professionals using MFR under the iMFT banner. For further details please contact MFR UK direct.
